2005-07-09 - *** Notice To All User *** When downloading please please give more upload speed to your torrents if possable.The
speed on some of the torrents is so bad it's unreal.
Try not to have to many going at once as this slows every thing down to a crawl uploading and downloading.On a upload of 35kbps
which is the Max for the UK users it takes approx 8-10 hours at max upload to get a file at just over 800mb uploaded on super
seed mode.
If i can only push 35Kbp/s up and the rest ove these downloaders only give 5kbps up the speed will be slow. PLEASE PLEASE
GIVE MORE.

2005-06-21 - *** New Ratio Warning On Download *** If your ratio is above 0.6(60%) you will not see the warning message
on the torrent details page. If your ratio is below 0.6(60%) you will be warned that ratio is low and still able to download
the torrents. If your ratio is below 0.1(10%) you will be banned from downloading any more torrents and will be asked to restart
a older torrent you have downloaded in the past.

2005-06-20 - Summary judgement from Judge Patel in the Napster case.
The last is the most relevant for this site. On June 3rd 2005 Judge Marilyn Patel issued a ruling in the Napster case clearly
outlinging that indexing files or even offering files for download is not secondary infringement of copyright and that basically
infringement only occurs if tangable evidence that the entire works has been provided by the person offering the files. In
other words as torrent sites/trackers do not hold any of the original works, they merely index torrent files that are uploaded
by the public and are thus not guilty of infringement.
So at this point I would like to make a formal request to Jenner & Block (the MPAA lawyers suing myself and many others) to
withdraw their action or face a legal battle with possible criminal consequences on their half.
I would also like to make a personal "Thank you" to Judge Patel for being the first judge to look at this in a sensible fashion
and make summary judgement in our favour.
